Who runs this site

Where this policy comes from

This Privacy Policy explains how SolidShift Ergonomics handles personal data collected through this website. The site is operated from Jl. Basuki Rahmat No. 129, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, 60271, Indonesia. We publish practical guidance on workplace ergonomics, desk mobility, and posture balance, and we keep the data we ask for to the minimum needed to answer you and to keep the site running.

Read it alongside our Cookie Policy, which covers the small files this site stores in your browser, and our Terms of Service, which covers how you may use the guides published here. If a question about your own data is not answered below, write to [email protected] and we will take it from there.

Controller

SolidShift Ergonomics, Surabaya, Indonesia.

Scope

Data collected through solidshift.info only.

Questions

Email [email protected] or call +62 31 539 6500.

What we collect and why

Two kinds of data reach us: what you type into the contact form, and what the server records as you read. They are used for different jobs, so we treat them separately.

Contact form data

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message content you provide. That is the whole of it. We use it to reply to your question and to keep a reference of the conversation, which matters when a query spans several messages or is picked up again weeks later.

You are not required to send the form to use this site. The guides on chair setup, workstation layout, movement breaks, and posture balance are readable without giving us anything.

Technical and usage data

We may also collect standard technical information such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and the pages visited, through server logs and analytics tools. This tells us which guides are actually read, where visitors leave, and whether the site is being probed or scraped.

Usage data is not used to build a profile of you as a person, and it is not matched against contact form submissions.

Grounds, retention and sharing

Why we are allowed to hold it, and for how long

Legal basis

We process contact form data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and we will stop using the message for anything beyond recording that you asked us to stop.

Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site.

Retention

Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to handle your query and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. Server logs are retained for a limited period consistent with normal hosting practice.

If you want a message removed sooner, ask and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that host the site or provide analytics, acting on our instructions. We may disclose data if required by law.

Providers are chosen for the job they do and are not given permission to use your data for their own marketing.

Your rights

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, contact [email protected]. Tell us which email address you used and what you want changed; if the request is about a message you already sent, a short quote of it helps us find the right record. We will respond within a reasonable period.

There is no charge for a request, and you do not have to give a reason for asking. If we cannot do what you ask, we will explain why rather than leave the request open.

Cookies, security and who this site is for

This site uses cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and blocking them will not stop you reading the ergonomics guides. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has sent us a message, write to us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page, and material changes are reflected in the wording here rather than in a separate notice.

Data at a glance

Name Contact form only
Email address Contact form only
Message content Kept for reference
Browser type Server logs
Approximate location From IP address
Pages visited Analytics

No payment details, no health records, no account passwords are collected on this site.

Do I have to send the contact form to read the guides?

No. The chair guide, workstation setup, movement and micro-breaks, and posture balance pages are open to anyone. The form exists for questions we cannot answer in an article, such as a specific request about our location or a correction you want us to make.

What happens to a message after you reply?

It stays in our inbox as a reference for as long as the query needs, then for a reasonable period afterward so we can pick the thread up again if you write back. Ask us to delete it at any point and we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Do you sell or rent personal data to anyone?

No. Data is handled by the hosting and analytics providers that keep the site online, working on our instructions. We may disclose data if the law requires it, and we will tell you when we are allowed to.

How do I ask for a copy of what you hold about me?

Write to [email protected] from the address you used, or call +62 31 539 6500 during working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We will confirm what we hold and either send it to you or explain why we cannot, within a reasonable period.

Questions about this policy

Talk to us before you worry about it

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold for your address, ask directly. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or +62 31 539 6500. You can also write to us at Jl. Basuki Rahmat No. 129, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, 60271.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If you would rather ask about our ergonomics guidance than about data, the contact page is the right route for that too.
