Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of solidshift.info, operated from Jl. Basuki Rahmat No. 129, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, 60271, Indonesia. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Before you read on

What these terms cover, and what they do not

SolidShift Ergonomics publishes editorial material about workplace ergonomics, workstation setup, movement, and posture. This page sets out the rules for using the site itself: what you may do with the content, what we ask you not to do, how third-party links are handled, and which law applies. It is a website terms document, not a product warranty and not a treatment plan.

The terms apply from the moment you open a page on solidshift.info. If you disagree with any part of them, the practical option is to stop using the site. Nothing here changes rights you hold under Indonesian consumer law that cannot be set aside by agreement.

We keep the wording as plain as the subject allows. Where a term has a specific meaning in this document, it is explained in the section that uses it rather than in a separate glossary.

Use of the site

You may read, share, and link to the content on this site for personal and non-commercial purposes.

Allowed

Reading any page, printing a copy for your own desk or team meeting, and linking to a page from a blog, newsletter, or internal wiki.

Needs permission

Copying content for republication, quoting a substantial part of a page, translating it, or reusing it inside a paid course or client deliverable. Ask first at [email protected].

Not permitted

Scraping the site at scale, mirroring it on another domain, automated bulk requests, or anything that slows the site down for other visitors.

If you run a workplace or study group and want to circulate a guide to colleagues, that is fine. Republishing the text under your own name or inside a product you sell is not. When in doubt, send a short note describing how you intend to use it and we will answer plainly.

Content and no professional advice

Content on this site is editorial information about workplace ergonomics, workstation setup, movement, and posture. It is written for desk-based professionals who want to make their own setup more comfortable, and it stays at that level: general explanation, adjustable ranges, and things worth checking for yourself.

It is not medical advice and does not create a professional relationship between you and SolidShift Ergonomics. Nothing on the site diagnoses a condition, prescribes treatment, or replaces an examination by a qualified healthcare professional.

If you have persistent pain, numbness, tingling, or an existing injury, speak to a doctor or physiotherapist before changing how you sit or move at work. If a suggested adjustment feels worse rather than easier, stop and seek that advice.

Accuracy

We aim to describe sources accurately and to avoid unverifiable claims. Where a recommendation depends on your own measurements, body proportions, or the furniture you already own, the page says so instead of presenting one setting as the answer for everyone.

Content may still contain errors. Ergonomic guidance also changes as new material is published, so we may update, correct, or remove pages at any time without notice. A page you bookmarked last year may read differently today. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, tell us at [email protected] and we will look at it.

Intellectual property

Text, structure, and original materials on this site are owned by SolidShift Ergonomics unless otherwise stated. That covers the written guides, the page layouts, the illustrations of setup ranges, and the way material is organised into sections and checklists.

You keep everything you send us. If you write in with a question, a correction, or a description of your own workstation, we may quote the substance of it in a reply or an updated page, but we will not republish your message as your own attributed case study without asking you first.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. That includes indirect losses such as lost time, lost work, or the cost of replacing furniture you bought after reading a guide.

You remain responsible for your own decisions at your own desk: checking that a chair, desk, or accessory suits your body and your workspace, following any instructions the manufacturer supplies, and stopping an adjustment that causes discomfort. This limit does not apply where liability cannot be excluded under Indonesian law.

What this does not cover

Claims about a product you bought elsewhere, advice given by a clinician you consulted, or anything that happened at a workplace whose own safety rules apply to you.

Questions about this section can go to [email protected].

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Revisions are published on this page, so the version you are reading now is the one that applies.

When a change affects how you may use the content, we will say so in the wording itself rather than only changing a date at the top. If a revision does not suit you, stop using the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to us is handled by the courts of Surabaya, Jawa Timur.

SolidShift Ergonomics operates from Jl. Basuki Rahmat No. 129, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, 60271, Indonesia. That address is also the place to send formal notices about these terms.

Common questions about these terms

Can I share a guide with my team at work?

Yes. Send the link, or print a page for an internal meeting. What needs permission is republishing the text elsewhere or reusing it inside something you sell.

Does reading this site replace seeing a doctor?

No. Everything here is editorial information about setup and movement. For pain, numbness, or an existing injury, consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing how you sit or move at work.

A linked product page changed its price or stock. Are you responsible?

No. Third-party listings sit outside this site. Prices, availability, and the terms you agree to there are set by that seller, and their policies apply once you follow the link.

I spotted an error in a guide. How do I report it?

Email [email protected] with the page name and what looks wrong. Corrections are reviewed, and pages may be updated or removed at any time as a result.

Where can I read how the site handles my data?

The Privacy Policy covers what is collected and why, and the Cookie Policy covers the cookies this site uses.

Where to go next

These terms sit alongside the two policies that explain how the site handles data and cookies. If you came here from a guide and want to keep reading, the ergonomics material itself is on the other pages.
